Funeral and Memorial Services

Funerals and memorial services mark the end of a person’s life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God’s keeping.

Such occasions can take the form of anything from a small, quiet ceremony to a large occasion with organ and choir. Memorial services are usually only held several weeks after a funeral service. The Cathedral clergy are available to take services at local crematoria and at the graveside when the occasion requires.
