The Revd Canon Tom Buchanan

The Revd Tom Buchanan – Tom became a member of Chapter and Honorary Canon in 2019. Tom is one of the most experienced communications advisors in the UK, having set up a public relations company which advises businesses and institutions in Europe, the US, the Gulf States and Asia on how to build and protect their reputations. He is also well practiced in change management and crisis communications processes.

Tom is ordained as a priest in the Church of England and ministers at St Mark’s, Newnham. As Chairman of governors at the Leys School in Cambridge he is a highly experienced advisor to independent school governors and academic institutions, where he uses his expertise to offer advice on governance as well as reputation risk, and typically acts as spokesman for the school to the media.
