Christmas Gift & Food Fair

Ely Cathedral Christmas Gift & Food Fair 2026

Thursday 19 - Saturday 21 November

Step into the spirit of the season at the Ely Cathedral Christmas Gift & Food Fair, where festive shopping, seasonal flavours and a joyful atmosphere come together beneath the soaring architecture of one of the county's most spectacular historic landmarks.

This year, more than a third of the 160 exhibitors are new to the Fair, bringing an exciting showcase of artisan foods, exceptional craftsmanship and inspiring creative talent.  Add to the festive experience with a nostalgic ride on the vintage carousel, or take to the skies on the magnificent Observation Wheel for breath-taking views across the city and surrounding landscape.

The outdoor Festive Village has been enhanced this year, with a superior marquee area and exterior covered seating, providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy something to eat. Within the Cathedral's magnificent interior, visitors can browse the Fair while enjoying live entertainment, before taking a break in the Lady Chapel for a warming glass of mulled wine and a selection of delicious seasonal bakes.

Whether you're searching for unique Christmas gifts, stocking up on festive food and drink, or simply soaking up the festive atmosphere of these beautiful surroundings, the annual Ely Cathedral Christmas Gift & Food Fair is the perfect opportunity to gather together family and friends and enjoy a truly memorable start to the Christmas season.
