Sunday: 12.15pm, 1.15pm & 2.15pm.

Up for a challenge? Feeling fit? Join our West Tower Experience to climb the 288 steps of the top of the tower and be rewarded with fabulous 360 views across the city of Ely and far beyond.  Take the opportunity to capture some wonderful photos of the surrounding landscape and a few selfies to celebrate making it up there, too!

The West Tower Experience takes up to 45 minutes and requires a good level of fitness and mobility. We advise anyone with any mobility issues or pre-existing health conditions to consider this before booking. A minimum of 2 visitors is needed for a tour to go ahead, and there is a maximum of 12 places on each tour.

Tickets: Adults (16+) £9. Children (aged 10-15) £7.50.
We cannot accept children under 10 on this tour.

We recommend booking in advance on-line prior to your visit. Please ensure that all participants have read the Terms and Conditions as this tour is not be suitable for everyone. 

Please ensure you are at the South West Transept meeting point 10 minutes before the start time. The tours begin promptly and late comers are unable to join the group once the tour is underway

For safety reasons Tower Tours may need to be suspended in extreme weather such as freezing ice or heavy rain. Full refunds will be given plus the option to rebook.
