Ground Floor Tours

Enhance your visit with a tour to discover more about the Cathedral's rich history, heritage and the people and events which have helped shape it over the centuries. Tours last one hour.

To book a ground floor tour online, you will also need to purchase a standard visitor ticket.  If you have free ground floor entry, please contact box.office@elycathedral.org to book your tour.

Days and Times: 
Monday - Saturday, 11am, 12.15am & 2pm.
(subject to Guide availability and other events in the Cathedral)

Tickets: Free, but please book a place.
The tour is only suitable for children aged 12 and over who will also need a tour ticket. 
Please check here for alternative family activities for younger children.

Please check any changes to opening hours before you visit.

Please meet your guide at the west end of the Nave, 5 minutes before your tour is due to start.
