Way of Life Breakfast Meetings
Saturdays: 21 September & 9 November, 8.30am -10.15am
in Powcher’s Hall

Led by Canon Jessica over croissants, orange juice, and excellent coffee. Come to a group which explores scripture, right action and the life of the spirit, talking over the readings for the Sunday Eucharist that weekend, sharing stories, supporting each other, and trying out silent contemplation together. Why not come along? All are welcome, whether occasionally or regularly, and whether you have come before or not.

Inquirers’ Course

Canon Jessica and Canon James will be running an ‘Inquirers’ course’ during the autumn term. If you are exploring faith, or just curious to know more about what Christians believe, this course is for you.

Malika Booker's Passiontide Poetry
Malika Booker read her poems ‘Nine Nights’ and ‘The Garden of Gethsemane' in events held in conversation with the novelist Francis Spufford.
The poems ponder the events of Holy Week but are located in a modern Caribbean setting. ‘Nine Nights' focuses on the raising of Lazarus and 'The Garden of Gethsemane' reflects on Jesus’ agony in the garden the night of his arrest. Recordings of the poetry and conversation are available below:
