Revd Nick Moir
Honorary Canon
Nick Moir is rector of Fen Ditton & Teversham and vicar of Horningsea in the deanery of North Cambridge where he is also rural dean. From October 2026 to June 2027 he is also interim assistant archdeacon while the role of a new archdeacon of Cambridge is discerned and an appointment made. He came to the diocese in 1994 as chaplain of St John’s College, Cambridge, and has been an incumbent in and around the city since 1998. He is married to Professor Rosalind Love, the Elrington and Bosworth Professor of Anglo-Saxon, who has delivered a lecture and a sermon in the cathedral. They live on the new Marleigh estate in Cambridge (opposite the airport) – and Nick has a special interest in new housing developments and the church’s engagement with them. He also works for a day a week as chaplain to Westcott House.
