Canon Jenny Wright

Jenny is responsible for learning and outreach at Ely Cathedral. She oversees the work of the Learning Team, who organise school visits, run sessions for home educators and under-5's.

As Canon Theologian she holds the brief for social justice and contemporary discipleship, exploring how we, as disciples, engage with love of neighbour and the world through caring for the environment, social and political engagement. 

Alongside other colleagues, she is responsible for adult learning and theological engagement with exhibitions and events, a major part of the outreach of the Cathedral.

Jenny also oversees pilgrims, pilgrimage tours and visitors to the Cathedral and those who welcome them, encouraging a deepening of Benedictine hospitality.
