Canon Dr Felicity Cooke

Dr Felicity Cooke became a member of Chapter and Honorary Canon in October 2022. Felicity’s professional background is working for equality, diversity and inclusion in higher education and professional societies, and more recently in the Church of England. She led on equality and diversity for the universities of both Cambridge and Oxford, and subsequently ran her own consultancy working with universities, the medical royal colleges, the Royal Society and other clients. She is an experienced trustee having been a Fellow of Newnham College, Cambridge, governor and vice chair of the then Perse Girls’ Senior School, and of her local community primary school in Stapleford. She is a trustee and former vice chair of Women and the Church, and of Inclusive Church, a member of Granta Deanery Synod, the Diocesan Synod, Bishop’s Council and General Synod.
