The Ely Imps

The Ely Imps is the Cathedral’s children’s choir, open to all local singers aged 7-13.

With an emphasis on the fun and joy of singing, the Imps take part in large scale concerts, joining the Cathedral's other choirs in the glorious setting of Ely Cathedral. The children also perform in their own concerts and at various venues in the area, for example, King's College Chapel, Cambridge, St. Mary's Parish Church.

The Imps are trained by experienced professional musicians and receive fun, high calibre vocal input. Rehearsals run for one hour a week during term time, usually on a Wednesday evening. If you know a boy or girl in this age group who enjoys singing, do please encourage their parents to get in touch with us as soon as possible. The more the merrier!
