Jonathan Bell
Chief Operating Officer and Chapter Clerk
Jonathan is responsible to the Dean for the management of the Cathedral’s non-clergy staff team. He assists Chapter with strategy development and oversees our day-to-day operations in line with agreed values and priorities. He’s responsible to Chapter for maintaining and developing the Cathedral’s financial sustainability and our property portfolio. He has safeguarding responsibilities for the senior leadership and administration teams and is accountable to the Dean for health and safety at the Cathedral. As Chapter Clerk, Jonathan supports members of Chapter and its committees to fulfil their governance responsibilities.
