Littleport Brass Band in Concert with International Trumpet Virtuoso Mike Lovatt

Littleport Band, led by Musical Director Ian Johnson, team up with one of the world’s leading trumpet players, Mike Lovatt, to present a wonderful evening of varied music.

This special concert will feature well-known jazz, big band, classical and traditional brass band pieces to bring you an fantastic evening of music not to be missed!

Littleport Band have been entertaining Cambridgeshire and beyond since around 1880, performing all styles of music in a wide variety of settings.

Very special guest, Mike Lovatt, is one of the world’s greatest “lead” trumpet players. He has played principal trumpet with the London Symphony Orchestra, John Wilson Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony and is the current Professor of Trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music. His recent artist recordings and performances include film hits such as Harry Potter, James Bond and most of the Marvel movies, TV work on Strictly Come Dancing, and numerous recordings with Robbie Williams, Eric Clapton and Shirley Bassey to name a few.
