St Etheldreda 1350
This year we have a special programme of events, concerts, services and exhibits to mark 1350 years since St Etheldreda first established a monastery in Ely in AD 673.
Cathedral Services
Three Services are held at the Cathedral every day of the year without exception.
The Last Supper Exhibition
This collection of ceramics is a sculptural interpretation of Leonardo Da Vinci’s iconic painting The Last Supper, depicting Jesus and his 12 disciples.
Octagon Tower Tours
Acknowledged as one of the wonders of medieval engineering, this incredible structure, suspended high over the centre of the Cathedral is considered the jewel in the Cathedral crown.
The Coronation Weekend
We invite you to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort with us here at Ely Cathedral.

Support Us
It costs £9,000 a day to care for our historic building, maintain our worship and music tradition, and carry out our contemporary mission of education, outreach, and care.

Monday to Saturday:
Between 10am - 4pm
Sunday:
Open from 12.30pm and closes at 5pm.
Please check any changes to opening hours before you visit.
