This ornate tapestry cushion cover is inspired by 15th Century designs extracted from the Lady & Unicorn wall tapestries. They are the most celebrated set that has survived from the medieval period. They consist of six, now in the Cluny Museum Paris. Depicting the five human senses and the sixth called "To my only desire". In the loosely strewn flowers, all kinds of animals disport themselves. Even the smallest details are reproduced with great care.
