In addition to offering a variety of freshly prepared dishes and locally sourced beverages. The Almonry Kitchen also serves as an event space, hosting a range of corporate gatherings, private celebrations, and more.

Sustainability

The recent renovations involved replacing the old gas boiler with an air source heat pump which has reduced carbon dioxide emissions from heating by around 80%. This is part of a wider project by Ely Cathedral to significantly reduce carbon emissions and contributes to The Almonry Kitchen being one of the most environmentally sustainable restaurants in the area.

Accessibility

The Almonry is completely accessible for customers with limited mobility. Access for pushchairs and wheel chair users is via the East Lawn of Ely Cathedral and through the Almonry garden. There is seating in the Garden Room or Blue Room and disabled facilities on the ground floor of the building.
