Ely Catherdral

On Saturday 4 March you are invited to join the Choristers and Lay Clerks of Ely Cathedral Choir to join in a performance of Sir John Stainer's famous dramatic work, 'Crucifixion'.

The event is to raise money for the Cathedral Choir Tour Fund, something which Assistant Organist, Edmund Aldhouse feels is key to the Choir's growth and success. 'Going on tour not only gives the boys an exceptional experience of performing in different locations and to international audiences, it also creates an opportunity for the rest of the world to experience the glorious tradition of English choral music at its very best'.

The performance takes place on Saturday March 4 at 6.15pm (rehearsal 4pm, break 5.30pm, performance 6.15-7.15pm). Singers must register by 2 March by emailing Frances Ascroft-Walker on gro/lardehtacyle//reklaw-tforcsa/f or calling 01353 660309. The cost to singers is £10.

The event is free for those who wish to attend as part of the audience.
