PRE-SCHOOL VISITS

WE ARE ALWAYS DELIGHTED TO WELCOME PRE-SCHOOL GROUPS TO THE CATHEDRAL

We offer the following activities or can arrange something special for your group.

Walter's Wonderful Web Shape Trail

A two hour session focussing on shapes with the opportunity for working on listening and attention, managing feelings and behaviour:

Find shapes in the Cathedral whilst helping to find the very best web shape. Make your very own web, play a shape game and use pictures to sequence the story.

The Scarecrows' Wedding

A two session looking at ceremonies and tradition, inspired by Julia Donaldson's book 'The Scarecrow's Wedding':

Take part in an interactive re-telling of the story as you search for all the things the characters need for the perfect wedding. Make a scarecrow puppet, join in with the song and use pictures to sequence the story.
