HOME EDUCATOR HISTORY LESSONS

Raiders, Invaders, Reformers and Restorers: Big History in a Tiny City (Term 1)

A series of interactive and engaging history lessons for home educated children. Wednesdays during term time.

Term one focuses on the raiders and invaders that shaped Ely and its Cathedral: Etheldreda's World, The Founding of Ely Monastery, Viking Threats, Brythnoth, Hereward and Building the Cathedral.

A taught session is provided each fortnight with a follow up session the week after to give children an opportunity to share and showcase their learning.

These sessions are aimed at children 7+ but a range of resources will be provided that support and challenge a range of learners and all are welcome.

You will receive an email including the Zoom link for all the sessions by 1 September 2021. All resources will be sent 7-5 days before each online session.

Tickets: £40 per login (includes all sessions)
