By rail:
Ely has many direct rail connections, including with London Kings Cross, Peterborough, Stansted Airport, Norwich and Birmingham. Ely Cathedral is a 10 minute walk from the station. There is a taxi rank at the station.

For the duration of the Flower Festival there will be a FREE shuttlebus service to transport visitors from Ely station to outside the main entrance of the Cathedral. The first bus will leave at 09.00 and will operate a regular service on all four days of the Festival. The last bus returning from the Cathedral back to Ely station will be at 17.30 daily.

By road:
Main road routes serving Ely include the A10 and A142 (linking with the M11, A1 and A14).

Car parking (free of charge in the city centre) is available in and around Ely, with most of the car parks a 5 or 10 minute walk from the Cathedral. Forehill Car Park and Ship Lane Car Park all offer free, all day parking after 8.30am. Park & Ride
In order to make your travel and parking arrangements stress-free there is a dedicated Park & Ride service for visitors to the Flower Festival. The site is located at the Cheffins Sale Ground at Sutton which is approximately 6 miles from the Cathedral and Ely City Centre. There will be official stewards onsite at all times to oversee the parking and ensure the buses to and from the Cathedral are operating efficiently and regularly. The Park & Ride service will run for the duration of the Flower Festival and will drop off directly outside the Cathedral entrance.

There will be a parking charge of £5 per car which includes your bus transfer to and from the Flower Festival. The First bus to leave the Park & Ride site is at 08:45 (21-23 June) and at 11.00 (24 June). The transfer buses will be operating throughout the day approximately every 15-20 minutes. The last bus returning from outside the Cathedral to the Park & Ride site is at 17.30.
