Ely is home to one of the largest groups of medieval monastic buildings still used every day, and this outdoor tour is your chance to explore them up close.

Wander through the precinct with your guide and uncover stories hidden in its stones – from the site of the monks’ hospital and the bloodletting hall to the impressive scale and layout of this historic area. You’ll discover how the buildings began around 1150 and evolved right through to the late 1300s.

A real highlight of the tour is a visit to Prior Crauden’s Chapel – a wonderfully preserved private chapel boasting stunning 14th century architecture, and a rare treasure in its own right.

Dates & Times: Thursday 12 March, 2pm; Friday 13 March, 2pm & Saturday 14 March, 2pm

Please meet at the South Door, 10 minutes prior to the tour start time.
