Revealing Ely’s more recent rich art heritage.

With a focus on the sculptures, stained glass windows and painted ceilings of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Cathedral is fortunate in housing works by a range of artists including Henry Holiday, Sir Ninian Comper, Hans Feibusch, David Wynne, Peter Eugene Ball, Jonathan Clarke and Helen Whittaker.

You’ll have the opportunity to discover the stories behind the art and the people who created it, explore its interpretations and find out how it interacts with the magnificent backdrop of this ancient Cathedral.

Please meet inside the West Entrance (main entrance), 10 minutes prior to the tour start time.
