Visit Ely Cathedral’s StarDome | 16 -21 February 2026

Step inside StarDome, one of the UK’s longest-established and most popular planetarium experiences, housed in Ely Cathedral's Lady Chapel for 6 days only.

Once inside the dome, you will be transported into a breath taking celestial world, where stars, planets, and galaxies slowly unfold around you, surrounded by shimmering light and evocative cosmic soundscapes.

Enhancing the experience, an expert guide in astronomy and astronautics will be on hand to lead you through awe-inspiring constellations and share the fascinating myths and legends associated with them.

Day Time Session Times:  Monday - Saturday: 10am, 10.45am, 11.30am, 12.15pm, 1.30pm, 2.15pm, 3pm and 3.45pm.
Lasting 30 minutes.

Tickets: £6* per person including children. 

*Anyone aged 16 or over also need to book a Cathedral Visitor ticket, unless you have free Cathedral entry.  To book StarDome with free Cathedral entry, please book in person or by contacting us at Box Office.
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Evening Session Time: Saturday 21 February: 7pm. *Sold out!* A special evening session in collaboration with Tiptree Stargazers, a non-profit astronomy group.
Lasting 1 hour 30 minutes.

This evening session includes a 45 minute session in the StarDome, along with 45 minutes outside with telescopes stargazing with the Astronomers (weather permitting).

Tickets: £15 per person incl. children.
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.  The evening session is recommended for those aged 12+.
