'A Million Alien Gospels?: Christian Theology and Life Elsewhere in the Universe'.

Andrew Davison is the Starbridge Lecturer in Theology and Natural Sciences in the University of Cambridge, and a fellow and dean of chapel at Corpus Christi College. Before his appointment in the Faculty of Divinity, he taught Christian doctrine at theological colleges in Oxford and Cambridge.

He served his curacy in South East London, after having studied chemistry, and a DPhil in Biochemistry, at Merton College, Oxford. In 2016-17 he was a visiting fellow at the Centre of Theological Inquiry at Princeton, New Jersey, on a NASA-funded programme to think about the theological and religious implications of life elsewhere in the universe.

His book Participation in God: A study in Christian doctrine and metaphysics will be published this year by CUP. He is currently finishing a book on the doctrinal implications of astrobiology, due to be published in early 2020. He is a regular contributor to Church Times and the TLS.
