North Sea Voices and Orchestra

North Sea Voices and Orchestra, directed by Dr Susannah Self, is a professional ensemble based in coastal North Norfolk. They have performed Susannah's operas in Vienna, Cambridge and Birmingham. Recently they gave a series of concerts in Norfolk churches including the iconic Binham Priory.

Alongside Fauré's beautiful Requiem, this Passiontide concert in the Lady Chapel features the world première of Dr Self's highly tuneful and harmonically rich Sea Requiem which, in addition to the traditional Latin texts, includes settings of poems about the sea by Keats, Dickinson and Whitman.
