Discover more about the impact that Henry VIII had on our Cathedral and life in England. We'll look for clues in the cathedral and find out more about why the monasteries were so important and how life changed when they were closed down. We'll be thinking about why Henry VIII really wanted to set up his own Church of England and examine his motives. Each session leads to the next, helping children build their knowledge and understanding of the reformation and dissolution of the monasteries through a range of hands on activities delivered by our learning team and historical characters.
