He Who Was, And Is, And Is To Come - Exhibition
Various dates

Wednesday 12 March - Wednesday 23 April
in the South Transept
This three part exhibition of paintings by Virginia Mull comprises 23 years of prayerful study, research and execution, with the aim that viewers will have opportunity for an experience with God.
Depicting Christ's Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Jesus' Return, the paintings are further enhanced with accessories to give a fuller dimension to the narrative. Notes on the research are available to read at the exhibition.
'The Cost' - A graphic vignette depiction of the Crucifixion based on the latest archaeological evidence and consultation with the Red Cross for body trauma accuracy.
'Awake' - With very little description of the Resurrection given in the Bible, science and nuclear physics were explored to add plausible detail to this depiction. The painting is round as the viewer witnesses through the stone which covered the tomb, the moment of resurrection.
'The Return of Jesus Christ' - Taking over twelve years to execute, and measuring eleven feet six inches tall and seven feet wide, this epic canvas contains over 350 individual angel warriors on horseback, around 150 of whom are modelled by real individuals.
