Gabrieli Roar - Mendelssohn’s Elijah

26 July 2022, 19:15

Gabrieli returns to Ely Cathedral to perform Mendelssohn’s Elijah, marking 10 years since the release of their award winning recording of this magnificent piece.

Over 200 young singers from across the country take to the stage alongside world-class period instrumentalists and singers, and renowned soloists. This performance is the culmination of an intensive five day residential course where Gabrieli Chorus Directors and Vocal Coaches have been working alongside partner choirs and singers to bring together this epic oratorio.

Led by Gabrieli's Artistic Director, Paul McCreesh, Elijah promises an inspirational and uplifting evening of some of the most glorious music in the classical canon.
