Tuesdays, 2.30pm
This year we are celebrating the remarkable life of our founding saint and Saxon Queen, St Etheldreda who in AD 673 founded a monastery in Ely, the very beginning of the Cathedral’s rich history.
Our experienced guides have developed a new, hour-long tour around the Cathedral, which will take you on a journey through her incredible life and legacy.
The tour is only available on Tuesdays and Saturdays during this anniversary year, so please enjoy the opportunity to learn more about the influence of this incredible woman in stunning surroundings.
Adults will need a standard visitor ticket in order to book an Etheldreda Tour.
