Christmas Wreath Workshop

Katie from Wild Oak Workshops warmly welcomes you to a magical Christmas Wreath Workshop in the beautiful setting of Ely Cathedral. This year the workshop will be located in The Presbytery.

A two and a half hour relaxed workshop using armfuls of locally harvested spruce, pine cones foraged from the forest floor, hedgerow teasels and deliciously scented cinnamon sticks and kiln dried citrus fruit slices. All weaved into a natural willow wreath base and nestled amongst lichen and moss to create a natural, wild look to your wreath. With a gorgeous selection of ribbons, raffia or twine to choose how you wish to hang your beautiful Wreath on your front door.

Should you wish, as an optional extra, Katie will show you how to carefully entwine fairy lights* (battery operated) to your wreath so it can be admired all through those dark wintery evenings. A dusting of snow and extra sparkles can add a magical touch at the end of the creative session. Katie looks forward to sharing her love of nature and knowledge about this gentle Season. The heaven scent of nature's gifts at this special time of year will truly be sensational.
