Iceni Botanical Artists - One-day workshop in The Lady Chapel.
Suitable for all levels
Tutor: Isobel Bartholomew
Drawing autumn material in ink can be great fun. The range of shapes and textures is large and could include seasonal flowers, seed heads, fruits, vegetables, or pine cones. Firstly the subject will be closely observed before making accurate pencil drawings on smooth, hot pressed paper. The outline will then be inked over, followed by demonstrations of the various methods of adding shading to produce a three dimensional effect.
Demonstrations and one-to-one tuition in the areas of composition, drawing skills, and ink techniques will all aim to improve individual development in an encouraging and relaxed atmosphere.
Isobel is a very experienced and enthusiastic tutor of botanical drawing and water colour painting on Courses and Workshops
