Ely Photographic Club Exhibition in the South West Transept

01 Aug 2019 - 31 Aug 2019

Members of Ely Photographic Club are exhibiting their work at Ely Cathedral this month. A collection of prints will be on display and some on sale right the way through to August 31.

Nick Bowman, the club's chairman, says: 'The display will be in the SW Transept, on the right hand side inside the West Door entrance, before the admissions desk. The exhibition is free and some of the prints will be on sale. Do come along and see the work of local photographers, sign our visitors book and perhaps purchase a wonderful mounted print for your home.'

Ely Photographic Club is for photographers of all abilities - novices, amateurs and professionals. Formed in the 1974, the club encourages members to enter competitions throughout the season. Prizes are given at the end of the year. Other programme events include practical evenings, digital workshops, talks from various professionals and a number of social events. The club meets on Wednesday evenings 7.30pm - 9.30pm at Ely College and the season runs from September to June.
