The Voices of the Valley (VOV) is Columbus State University's premier children's chorus. Voices of the Valley is a traditional vocal ensemble for both girls and boys ages 9-16. The vision of Voices of the Valley is to inspire young singers to become life-long learners of music through choral experience and community engagement. A variety of age-appropriate vocal training using both traditional and modern literature is directed by music education professor, Dr Michelle Herring-Folta.

Founded in 2007, Voices of the Valley has grown to over 60 singers from all over the Chattahoochee Valley. During the 2017-2018 season, Voices of the Valley will collaborate with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra for their "Celebration of America's Veterans" concert and for the Columbus Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. Additional performances include Columbus State University's Winter fest, the Choral Society of West Georgia Choral Festival in LaGrange, Georgia, and Uptown Columbus' Art Beat. Our season concludes with a choir tour of England in July, 2018.
