LUNCHTIME CONCERT - THE CHOIR OF THE CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY, WASHINGTON, DC

31 July 2018 1:10pm

The Epiphany Choir, the church's primary 20-voice choral ensemble consisting of professional section leaders and volunteers, sings at the Rite II Eucharist at 11am. Hymns and service music are drawn principally from the Episcopal Hymnal 1982, supplemented by selections from other Episcopal and ecumenical musical resources. The choir has long been known for the excellence of its choral offerings in the Anglican tradition, from chant and Palestrina through to Howells and Stephen Paulus. The Epiphany Choir sings Sunday mornings September to Pentecost and a weekly rehearsal is held every Thursday evening at the church. The choir sings at special services and concerts during the year and performs a wide range of music
