The distinguished musician D'Arcy Trinkwon is one of the outstanding organists of his generation. Alongside his concert career he is Organist of Worth Abbey and Organist to the University of Sussex.

Performing in international festivals and concerts series in concert halls, cathedrals and churches around the world, his engagements include recording, broadcasts, masterclasses, teaching and concerto performances.

Respected for his dedication to the organ as a concert instrument, his instinctive affinity with the organ is grounded by scholarship and encyclopedic knowledge of his art. His vast repertoire is one of the most extensive of any artist before the public and includes all the established masterpieces of all periods.

He began his musical career as a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral and after studies in London went to the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He completed his studies in Europe.

"D'Arcy Trinkwon is a master of phrasing and the sensitivity of his artistry gives new life to the great Romantic works... Apart from his great awareness of nuances, it is this gifted musician's mastery of colour that allows him to further illuminate unimagined perspectives in often complex works...

His splendid, but nevertheless subtle virtuosity combined with considerable artistic integrity to demonstrate that he is one of the really great artists of his genre" Münich Merkur, Germany

". . . the supremely gifted organ virtuoso D'Arcy Trinkwon.... His subtle yet magisterial command of the instrument was spell-binding: he knows no technical difficulties and his playing was in total accord"

The Organ

"an object lesson... of the highest class" International Record Review

"So much infectious joy radiates from his performance that purists could suffer severe pangs of guilt..."
