The second FREE Night At The Cathedral events presents a final opportunity to let your imagination wander as you explore the numerous Science Festival exhibits including meteors and space suits under the spectacular 'Museum of the Moon' suspended from the Nave ceiling. There will be the opportunity to participate in interactive displays including Robotics, Meteorites, Space Science and Molecular Biology. Visitors will be encouraged to handle some of the exciting range of rocks from the moon, on loan from the Science and Technology Funding Council (STFC) and explore key topics such as space travel through interactive exhibits around the Cathedral. One of the highlights is a 20 minute tour of the night sky inside a six metre wide 'Star Dome' belonging to the National Space Centre.* Other attractions include refreshments and a science themed musical performance.

*There is a charge of £5 for the Star Dome. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. For the 8.30pm session there will be a limited number of tickets available to purchase at the event. All other Star Dome sessions are sold out.
