The Cathedral Schools' Days will take place from Tuesday 2 - Friday 5 October 2018.

This page contains information for teachers and school staff to help with preparations for Schools' Days visits. Please check that your school is booked in for the correct day, year group and number of pupils and take note of the information regarding your school base letter(s) and workshop groups. All children will need to bring a packed lunch, cushion and warm clothes.

Workshop Groups

Each school party has been divided into two or three  groups - please divide your children and adult supporters as equally as possible between the allocated groups. Each group will be known by their colour (as shown here) and it would be helpful if this colour was shown on the pupil's name badges. Each group will be allocated a 'Pied Piper' to lead to and from the workshop.

It would be helpful if the children have a basic understanding of the First World War and how we remember those lost, including wearing the poppy around Remembrance Day. For ideas and information-packed websites click here.

Please could all children wear a poppy - red or white - some ideas for making these are shown here.
