Following on from our hugely successful #ChristmasAtEly campaign, we have joined up with the Diocese of Ely to run another exciting social media campaign for Holy Week and Easter. The Church of England will once again be supporting this campaign.
During our #LiveHolyWeek campaign you will see films from Ely Cathedral Choir and two Cambridge based choirs, The Gesualdo Six and The Fašade Ensemble. These music films will showcase some beautiful and evocative music written for Holy Week so people who may not go, or may not be able to go, to church can be a part of our witness. We are proud that we can bring sacred choral music to a global audience as we become the world's largest cathedral channel to provide high definition content to audiences across 142 different countries. Running alongside these music videos will be four topical discussions which we hope will unpack and explain some of the key events and messages of Holy Week.
This campaign will launch on Palm Sunday on our YouTube channel at: youtube.com/c/elycathedralcambridge. Ely Cathedral is soon to have the second largest subscriber following for a Cathedral in the UK. Two videos released in March have already attracted over 32,000 views and reached over 82,000 people.
We hope that you enjoy the Easter Campaign and they enrich your Holy Week. Please do tell your friends and share the films.
