12 and 13 May 2012 - Ely Cathedral
Singers arriving for the ACVC Festival on Saturday 12 May are asked to enter through the main west door of the Cathedral and then register in the South West Transept (on the right as you come in). The registration desk is expected to open at 12.30pm. Pre-booked packed lunches may also be collected from there at the time of registration. Please note the Cathedral is closed for a private function until 12.30pm.
The first rehearsal, in the Octagon, starts at 1.30pm. It would be helpful if singers could arrive in that area a little ahead of that time, in order to have time to robe (cassocks/albs only) and to find their seats for the rehearsals and services. If anyone has come by train and needs to leave a suitcase in a secure location, that can be arranged.
The registration desk will close at 1.15pm. Any singers arriving after this time should report to the desk at the south door.
General Information
Member choirs of ACVC will have received full details of the arrangements for the weekend. Copies of all circulated paperwork are available below, likewise the Psalm and Nunc Dimittis for Evensong on Saturday, 12 May 2012.
Members of the public are warmly invited to attend Evensong at 5.30pm on Saturday 12 May and the Sung Eucharist at 10.30am on Sunday 13 May 2012.
