An insightful talk about the life & work of The Very Reverend Michael Mayne who was Dean of Westminster, having previously spent seven years in Cambridge as Vicar of Great St Mary's. Prior to that Michael had been Head of Religious Programmes Radio at the BBC.

Mayne wrote five bestselling books on spirituality: A Year Lost and Found; This Sunrise of Wonder; Pray, Love, Remember; Learning to Dance; and, finally, The Enduring Melody, a book about his battle with cancer. Mayne passed away as a result of his illness in October 2006.

Four more bestselling books by Mayne have been published posthumously, with at least two more to follow. Joel Huffstetler serves as curator of the Michael Mayne archive. He will offer an overview of these newly published collections of Michael Mayne's work, and Dean Bonney will offer his personal recollections of Mayne from their time together in Salisbury.
