The Pembroke Players is a student theatre troupe based out of Pembroke College, Cambridge and has been the starting point for many household names in TV and theatre over its 50 year history, from Eric Idle and Bill Oddie in the early days through to stars such as Naomi Harris (Pirates of the Caribbean), Joe Thomas (The Inbetweeners) and Jonny Sweet (When Boris Met Dave) today.

A modern, energised restaging of the classic text performed by some of Cambridge University's finest actors.

The Pembroke Players Japan Tour, before leaving for Tokyo and Okinawa, return to Ely Cathedral once again for a performance of the same Shakespeare play they first toured ten years ago.

In the 400th anniversary year of Shakespeare's death, the ever-recognisable love story of Romeo and Juliet continues to find new resonance through this captivating production.
