DEVELOPING A RESILIENT FUTURE FOR THE OUSE WASHES LANDSCAPE - HAVE YOUR SAY
21 February 2017 6:45pm - 9:15pm
The Ouse Washes Landscape Partnership is hosting an evening of discussion and debate, exploring key issues relating to the impacts of climate change on the Ouse Washes Landscape. Experts representing the perspectives of different land-use interests - including business and communities, conservation, farming and water management - will discuss ways of adapting to those changes, and consider whether there can be a resilient future for the Ouse Washes Landscape.
Scientists suggest that global warming will result in further sea level rises this century, which will have a severe impact on the low-lying Ouse Washes Landscape and wider East Anglia.
We hope you will join us for the debate, which will help raise awareness of the issues facing the Ouse Washes Landscape, generate discussion about the landscape's future, and develop a foundation for future partnership working to support sustainable practices and communities within the context of climate change.
Free admission - refreshments included. Please register your attendance at: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/developing-a-resilient-future-for-the-ouse-washes-landscape-registration-30455214366?aff=ehomecard
Please note that this event will be recorded through film and photography. Please contact a member of the Ouse Washes team if you do not wish any images of you to be published or posted.
