Ely Cathedral follows recommended safeguarding practice in recruiting, training and supporting our ordained and lay ministers, our employees and our volunteers.
We follow the House of Bishops' Policy, 'Protecting All God's Children' (2010) and the Diocese of Ely Safeguarding Policy (2012) on which our policy is based.

Education Department 'Roadshow'

This is a new enterprise by the Cathedral Education Officer to help schools who, for reasons of cost or distance or curriculum constraints, are unable to bring their pupils on a visit to Ely Cathedral.
The object is to offer a half- day learning experience in your own school which gives a flavour of what a visit to the site would provide and might encourage the children to bring their parents on a visit to the building itself. Download further details ...
